I saw my first bread bowl a few years ago at a farmers market. I had never seen one before and I didn’t know what it was or what it was called, but I knew I wanted one. There was just something about that primitively carved bowl that appealed to me. I bought two. During the summer months mine are filled with seashells. During the fall they are filled with mini pumpkins and fall decor. For winter, they are filled with Christmas ornaments. Whether you call them bread bowls or dough bowls, they are beautiful and so fun to decorate!
